How can I stop suffering and create a life of abundant joy and effortless success? How do you radically recover from abuse, marriage failure, anger, depression, addiction, and so on? Freedom to Love reveals a powerful step-by step process of how you can overcome every adversity, fear, and destructive habit to transform your life of suffering and disease into happiness and health. It demonstrates that the most powerful healing comes as a result of consciously releasing fearful beliefs and destructive habits that strangle you in a prison of self-judgment and sickness. The people who irritate you are just a reflection of what you are trying to deny inside yourself. The moment you love and accept yourself unconditionally, spontaneous healing occurs and chronic diseases resolve. When your heart heals, the heart of your so-called “enemy” also heals. It is in this healing dynamic that we heal the world.

Sexuality rights remain a controversial issue in many parts of Africa; it is not just a controversial issue but also a taboo subject. Many countries in Africa still criminalize homosexuality. Sodomy laws remain part of the criminal laws thereby making it legally possible to persecute sexual minorities. For example Zimbabwe, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Tanzania and Ghana all have laws under which homosexuality can be prosecuted. In South Africa, where the constitution recognizes same-sex relationships, gays and lesbians are often attacked, molested and persecuted for their sexual orientation. Many African societies do not provide enabling environments to discuss sexual orientation issues. Homosexuality has been condemned by many African leaders as Immoral, Un-African and a 'White man's disease'. In Nigeria, lawmakers are resurrecting a version of a widely condemned anti-homosexuality bill. Nigerian Lawmakers in a bid to rally popular support needed a scapegoat and the LGBT community provides an easy target. Poverty, corruption, unemployment, lack of security and the growing menace of Boko Haram are some of the many problems bedeviling Nigeria as a nation. Rather than focus on these urgent problems, Nigerian lawmakers decided once again to come in a 'straight' mass orgy of corruption to bully the gay minority; a cause always guaranteed to provide the otherwise unpopular lawmakers with cheap, majority support. When will they stop discussing who is sleeping with whom and start making laws to move this underdeveloped, oil rich nation forward? In the book FREEDOM TO LOVE FOR ALL: Homosexuality is not Un-African, Yemisi Ilesanmi takes a critical look at Nigeria's 'Jail the Gays' bill. In this interesting collection of her articles on Nigeria's Same Sex Marriage Prohibition bill, she makes a brilliant case for LGBT Rights as Human Rights and effectively debunks the myths surrounding homosexuality in Africa. Yemisi Ilesanmi also raises concern on what she termed 'The deafening silence of Nigerian Human rights activists on the homophobic bill'. She sheds light on homophobia in Nigeria and the forces driving the 'Jail the Gays' bill in Africa. She wrote: “I wonder why it is not considered politically incorrect to ask if Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals or Transsexuals have equal rights as heterosexuals. If we are agreed that no one should be discriminated against, why are we still debating if Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transsexuals are entitled to Human Rights? Last time I checked LGBTs are people too! Well, debate is good because in some countries like Nigeria, many are yet to be convinced that Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transsexuals are actually human beings.”

Catherine had already experienced a rich life when she met Douglas Harding, a renowned English mystic and philosopher. As a child she had lost her beloved father in World War II, and a few years later, in Paris, she fell in love with Driss Chraibi, now one of Morocco's most renowned writers, and raised their five children. When the marriage ended she went to India to study under the yoga teacher Iyengar. On her return to Paris she was persuaded to attend a workshop on The Headless Way ... Catherine's life story provides a backdrop to the direct and practical experiments of perceiving who we really are, found in this book and developed by Harding. As a teenager she had already realized, 'There is another reality here which is luminous Light and silence', and through Douglas' experiments she learned how to access this at will. Catherine brought a feminine voice to Douglas' teachings and together they introduced countless people to the art of Seeing, conducting workshops throughout the world till his death in 2007. Karin Visser met Catherine in 2014 and their conversations inspired this book: 'More and more, ' Catherine tells Karin, 'I realize that I am not Catherine, the little Catherine. I am the eternal universal consciousness, experiencing life in the form of Catherine, just as you are the universal consciousness experiencing being you. At the root of ourselves we are this clear universal consciousness.'"

Louisiana, 1815 Thérèse Bondurant trusted her parents to provide for her and her young half-sister, though they never wed due to laws against mixed-race marriage. But when both die of a fever, Thérèse learns her only inheritance is debt—and her father's promise that somewhere on his plantation lies a buried treasure. To save her own life—as well as that of her sister—she'll need to find it before her white cousins take possession of the land. British officer Henry Farlow, dazed from a wound received in battle outside New Orleans, stumbles onto Thérèse's property out of necessity. But he stays because he's become captivated by her intelligence and beauty. It's thanks to Thérèse's tender care that he regains his strength just in time to fend off her cousin, inadvertently killing the would-be rapist in the process. Though he risks being labeled a deserter, it's much more than a sense of duty that compels Henry to see the sisters to safety—far away from the scene of the crime. And Thérèse realizes she has come to rely on Henry for so much more than protection. On their journey to freedom in England, they must navigate a territory that's just as foreign to them both—love. 90,000 words

The year is 1858. And Alana Peterson's world just crumbled around her. This Missouri girl's only possession is a journal, placed in her hands by her dying mother. In the journal a secret is revealed-a secret that could destroy her. Shay O'Connell, a man who has previously proven himself untrustworthy, offers to escort Alana west. With no other choice left to her, Alana accepts his offer, and they embark on the journey under the false pretense that they are siblings. But pretending to be brother and sister becomes a difficult task when Shay and Alana begin to fall in love. Fearful that Shay will not marry her if he learns the truth, Alana decides it best to keep her secret from him. When Alana's secret finally surfaces, will it destroy the very relationship she so desperately tried to protect? Watch as Alana fully relies on God through every situation in her ever-changing life. Freedom to Love, penned by new author Rhonda Kulczyk, is an intriguing and heart-wrenching novel about overcoming one's past and allowing God to be God. Rhonda Kulczyk's most important credential is an addiction to the written page. Writing has always been a passion, and even in the midst of her chaotic yet fun-filled moments of raising four boys, she always seems to find small snitches of time throughout the day to write. Born and raised in Montana, Rhonda then spent ten years in Oklahoma during which time she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education at Oral Roberts University. Rhonda now resides in North Dakota with her husband, Will, and their four sons.
